Booking an Appointment

- Confirmation: You’ll receive an email with your booking confirmation and secure telehealth link.
Before Your Session
Here’s how to prepare for a smooth consultation:
- Find a Quiet Space: Choose a private, quiet room with a reliable internet connection.
- Use a Device with a Camera: Laptop, tablet, or smartphone with video access.
- Prepare Questions/Concerns: Write down anything you’d like to discuss or ask.
- Be On Time: Log in 5–10 minutes before your scheduled session.
During Your Session
Your psychiatrist is here to listen, assess, and support you. During your session:
- Open Dialogue: Feel free to share openly — everything discussed is confidential.
- Mental Health Evaluation: Your psychiatrist will ask about your thoughts, feelings, lifestyle, and history.
- Treatment Planning: Together, you’ll explore therapy, medication, or lifestyle recommendations.
Aftercare & Follow-Ups
Ongoing support is key to your wellness:
- Follow-Up Appointments: These are scheduled based on your treatment plan — usually every 2–4 weeks.
- Prescriptions: Sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy (where available).
- Progress Reviews: Your psychiatrist will track your progress and make adjustments as needed.
Billing & Medicare
Understanding payments is important:
- Consultation Fees: Prices depend on the type of session and psychiatrist.
- Private Insurance: Some private insurers cover telehealth psychiatry — please check with your provider.
- Medicare Rebates: Available for eligible services — we’ll guide you through the claim process.
- Payment Methods: We accept online card payments. Invoices and receipts are provided.
Accessing Reports & Referrals

- Mental Health Care Plans: We can assist in preparing or updating care plans in coordination with your GP.
